Meandering through themes ranging from the weight of responsibility to the ephemerality of life, my hope is to help you live and to love well. I hope these songs help you suck the marrow out of every day God has given you.

The Cost of Humans
Even setting aside the many hours I spend writing, rewriting, muttering to myself, and generally fussing over each one of these songs, more than half a dozen other talented and diligent musicians touch every song by the time you hear it. This costs money, because each of those real people are really worth it.
Because of that, I will spend over $25,000 on this album alone by the time you hear it. For comparison, it would take over 8 million streams on Spotify to cover that cost.
This isn’t an AI-generated, algorithmic imitation of music—it’s music made by real hands and voices and strings and keys. And I think that’s still worth doing.
